It was almost 2 weeks we had a spring break holiday. I felt a little weird actually because every season has its own break- let's say it holiday. Autumn, Winter, Spring and the last is Summer with 3 MONTHS HOLIDAY. It's just too much, dude. Meanwhile in Indonesia..
Okay, so since it was the first spring break in my life i will be writing about it, чтобы не забыт.
Actually i didn't go anywhere outside of Kazan during the holiday, which made me sooooo sad- at first. But it's not that bad, actually. I got amazing moments.
First, my friend, Anette and I presented presentations in front of some important teachers in Kazan about our countries and our life in Russia. It tought me about confidence and how to face new people with a different language. It was hard and I don't know what they were thinking. At least I did my
best. МЫ МОЛОДЦИ!

A super cool girl from Finland |
Katya- my 8 years old host sister got sick and my hostmom gave us their tickets to a classical music concert. In short, Marina and I went to that concert. If was not mistaken, it was a "Bach Concert", I really enjoyed the music and I didn't really give attention to a lady who kept talking with a hard level Russian language. I came for the music, not for you. I'm really sorry, Lady. But you spoke well, I suppose.
After the concert we went to a small restaurant and ate some Turkey's food.
Don't be sick, Katya!! |
Anette's host sister, Anastasya, invited me to go to ther house for visiting. I brought some flowers since it's a russian culture to show them our respect and another way to say thankyour for inviting. We had a reaallly great time. We became closer and I got a chance to watch a Movie ( I forgot the name again, sorry Nastya). The movie showed us Russians' lifestyle in 1955-x. How people lived, talked even how they dressed. I really like it! It gained my knowledge about Russia in the era of Soviet Union.
We bring the world to Nastya's home! |
A friend from Switzerland, Lara, who is living in Alexandrov for her exchange year came to Kazan with her host sister. Then, we showed her the city and took her to some nice places in Kazan. It helped me to learn how to be a tour guide, actually. It happens quite often since so many friends visit Kazan and ask Anette and I to show them the city.
WELCOME TO KAZAN YAYAYAYYY |
The rest of the days, I spent them with my friend, Julia to walk and explore our city more, did stupid things, enjoy the time and many more. I did my homeworks for holidays that my teacher gave me, record some videos for my Indonesians' friend since they need the vidoes for their farewell party's projects. It was so sad that Marina was sick and she couldn't have a walk with us.
We visited the place we- I never visited, ate foods that we never ate, etc. I got to know that I'm so lucky to live in the city, and most of all I know that I'm blessed.
I took thousands of photographs, bunch of videos, I gained weight again because I ate everything and I learned many things- that's the best part.
